The importance of Seeing Shadows
It is much easier to focus on the obvious in a photograph than it is to see what is not obvious - a shadow. If you look closely, you will see how shadows actively participate in a photograph. It is shadows that shape the light and can command our attention. They can easily transform simple things in new and unusual ways.
